Horsemanship Week 3

Horsemanship this week was full of excitement and new friendships. The ranch manager, Jade, taught the kids a variety of life skills through horse training. Day one focused on building relationships with both the horses and fellow campers. Day two taught the kiddos important communication skills. A big lesson was learning to understand horse body language and what the horses might be communicating through their actions. Day three focused on teamwork between campers and their horses. The group also began painting horseshoes while their horses created their own canvas masterpieces! Day four was all about problem-solving, as Jade led a variety of creative activities that challenged both the campers and their horses in new ways. On the final day of camp, the focus shifted to building creativity and confidence.
What a fun week! We hope all of the campers have a wonderful rest of their summer.
